Looks great. The fact that it started as a parody and worked its way into actual content shows, and I mean that in a pretty good way. I obviously love more dark and serious content, but a good action flick usually has a fair share of lighthearted moments and some sarcastic comedy in it. Marvel is an obvious but pretty good example. Some of their films lately especially. Best of luck with the project, I think it looks awesome and I really hope you go through with it.

YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE! IT WAS SAID THAT YOU WOULD DESTROY THE PARODIES, NOT JOIN THEM! BRING BALANCE TO THE PORTAL, NOT LEAVE IT IN DARKNESS!

Kel-chan responds:

Yeah I think that parody stuff has to break a bit. Too bad it would not be with an original series but baby steps are in order i guess.

I play Vegeta and I say if you don't like this at least a little bit, then you're subhuman.

Legitimately though, this project is more righteous with each additional episode. Can't get enough. Thank you for all the work that goes into this.

bocodamondo responds:

thank you gohan, ah i mean vegeta, ah i mean vegeta, ah i mean king vegeta, argh i mean, sirundead ^^

One thing cool about you is the fact that when you spend a bunch of time polishing something, it really shows and looks really good. That's obviously not the case here-- My point is that even when you DON'T spend a lot of time polishing something to look awesome, you still know how to put the right bits in play for it to be an enjoyable piece with some slight eye candy going on. Mood totally set, point clearly understood. Keep doing awesome stuff. And don't stop or I'll kill you.

CartoonCoffee responds:

Thank you, it's good to know where my strengths are.
And no worries, as long as I have a pulse I'll keep creating.

Thanks for the comment!

You should do another one based on Hans van Harken. Just watch his vine videos to verify how within his normal demeanor this would be.

Great video. My friends made me chain-watch seventeen episodes with them and they were like "Isn't it weird how it gets oddly dramatic and grimly serious!?" and I was like "Fuck no, this is hilarious. Every minute. Especially the ones that are supposed to be sad."

Absolutely beautiful. Perfect ending. Your work with the writing was almost as genius as your work with the sound. The realistic machine noises and cold, unending buzzing perpetuated the hopeless yet hopeful reality of the situation, and many more adjectives I won't write at this moment. Genius work.

Sometimes I see you getting a lot of really mixed reviews and it really fucks with me, because your work is so cleanly executed. On the topic of writing, most of your material is pretty solid independently and near-concrete when you factor in specific references that some folks may not get. The greatest criticism somebody oughtta have for you is your tendency to go to parodies and popular material, but that's a whooooole separate debate which honestly has no place when judging the raw quality of a specific animation, in my opinion.

THAT'S RIGHT FOLKS, UNDEAD'S BEEN DRINKING AGAIN SO IT'S ALLLLLLL COMING OUT RIGHT HERE IN THIS REVIEW HEHEHEH KEK.

No but seriously, that kill on link was so fucking brutal that I-- IIIiIIiIiIiii-- almost wanted to look away. I fucking LOVED it. Please do more brutal shit, because you're cruelly good at it. I had a feeling you were back on that pac-manimation, but this puts the last nail in the gory coffin for me.

Folks are complaining about the voice acting, and I can see bits where it's a little janky, but honestly, the VAs have great quirk to their voices and real character, even if execution isn't always perfect. It almost sounds to me like they were uncertain of how their lines were intended, or maybe it's as others say, and some kind of sync issue. Regardless, I was actually enjoying their individual voices so much after about four lines that I was able to put aside the seemingly off-beat acting entirely and enjoy the unique characters you've made.

Furthermore, that musical bit came together beautifully! Normally that kind of thing is kinda awkward and hard to sit through, but it came out really nicely. Was it truly the same VAs who act the respective characters? Because I wouldn't talk shit on the acting if their singing came out so rad.

I really need to try and weasel my voice into any of your projects somehow one day. It's always great material with you. Not perfect, it's never been perfect with you, but it's always been something even better than perfect.

Inspired. Soulful.

Never stop writing.

Thanks!

My understanding of DayZ and games similar is that it's an experience you should definitely partake in if you're particularly interested in further decreasing your own love, or more specifically, your WILL to love the society around you.

Thumbs up, would gladly heed the warning again.

Constructively speaking on the animation...

What dare would I say to the great Sam Green, other than to beg to do voice work for him? But even such groveling would be in vain, as he's clearly got those ducks alllllll in a row.
