You managed the sense of atmosphere like a pro. Tension existed without being at the cost of patience, nothing, to me, seemed to really overstay its welcome. The episode feels focused and controlled and doesn't really give off the vibe of having bitten off more than it could chew. Glad you got two of the best for the voice work, Twisted and EyesAdrift were really solid choices, fit their characters great and of course have a track record of quality in everything I've ever been with them in or just seen them involved with. I really hope I get to to see more of, and participate in this rad stuff in the future. Thank you very much.

Oh my God, he's eating his feelings. This is implying that sharks are just eating their feelings. Too cute.

In the end, Vlad was wrong. There's nothing "straight" about destiny. He was eager to learn. That made two of us.

I had a dream of this animation. It was over, but it was alright.

Things had gone from fine to fucked up in about 40 seconds, and now, two idiots were at the wheel.

You filthy slut, I know you have more THROBBINGLY hilarious misquotes hidden deep, DEEP inside you. PULL OUT and show the whole internet your proud DICKtion.

Gotta agree with Kel, you could pull off real action/drama for sure. Anybody who references Black Sunshine is pretty rad in my book, and the way you did it was clever.

"Sometimes heroes aren't made, they're born. They might be born that way but it doesn't mean they're not people too, now make room for his chair."

This is pretty slick, charming, enjoyable, the characters are interesting and I'm looking forward to where this goes. What I'll tell you is that I think the pacing needs to go a little faster, writing needs to assume a little bit more intelligence on behalf of the viewer. It crawls and statements are all almost too obvious, although a couple of moments made me chuckle. For example, when the red haired dude laughed at BB talking about wood. Juvenile and obvious joke, heh, sure, but what it did RIGHT was how the redhead cut straight to laughter, filling in that obvious joke for the audience and not saying something like "Hard wood, huh?" You know, just assuming folks'll connect the dots.

Tell you what though, I've been drinking a bit more than normal tonight so this review might be trash. Still, I think that this shows a lot of promise and charm. It's really cleanly done and I look forward to more. Also, cast me.

Great style. Not just in the art either, but the writing as well. You've got this great dismissively casual style to all of your comedic writing that I really get a kick out of. The acting backed it up, too. Awesome work.

Brewster responds:

Thank!!!!!!

I completely forgot about this. The color scheme worked really well and looked awesome. I love the concept. I'd actually like to see this one fleshed out into a proper adventure dealio, but that's just me.

CartoonCoffee responds:

You know what, so would I.
If you're up for it, I think I might do just that.

I haven't stopped laughing to myself about the card scene since I first watched it. Goddamn hilarious little respect to the 60s Spiderman stuff.

I sincerely hope you utilize me for other stuff in the future, your work is an absolute blast.

This is great, and I don't care too much about exposition, or really even continuity. I'd love to see more of this world/these characters doing whatever you want them to, backstory or not. Also, cast me.

Fantishow responds:

I have a couple of characters in mind for you!
