Looks great. The fact that it started as a parody and worked its way into actual content shows, and I mean that in a pretty good way. I obviously love more dark and serious content, but a good action flick usually has a fair share of lighthearted moments and some sarcastic comedy in it. Marvel is an obvious but pretty good example. Some of their films lately especially. Best of luck with the project, I think it looks awesome and I really hope you go through with it.

YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE! IT WAS SAID THAT YOU WOULD DESTROY THE PARODIES, NOT JOIN THEM! BRING BALANCE TO THE PORTAL, NOT LEAVE IT IN DARKNESS!

Kel-chan responds:

Yeah I think that parody stuff has to break a bit. Too bad it would not be with an original series but baby steps are in order i guess.

Absolutely brilliant. Smooth animation. Enjoyable fight. I didn't mention it during our working phase, but I just wanted to say that your take on the theme message was genuinely my favorite out of what I had seen. The notion of taking care of your daughter actually being the most important mission ever is really sweet, and evil a cold, soulless monster like me can appreciate that.

What's there to say about Piper other than her immense skill to fairly match her inevitable fame?

And what's there to say about you aside from the same line?

Thanks for the opportunity, amigo. Looking forward to next time.

SpikeVallentine responds:

" I just wanted to say that your take on the theme message was genuinely my favorite out of what I had seen." W-wow.....r-really? Thank you, that's very encouraging. You are too sweet.

"The notion of taking care of your daughter actually being the most important mission ever is really sweet, " Exactly...

"and evil a cold, soulless monster like me can appreciate that." Wow. What power stories can have!

Thank you my friend, it was a pleasure working with you, and with a more meaty role!!!! <3

I play Vegeta and I say if you don't like this at least a little bit, then you're subhuman.

Legitimately though, this project is more righteous with each additional episode. Can't get enough. Thank you for all the work that goes into this.

bocodamondo responds:

thank you gohan, ah i mean vegeta, ah i mean vegeta, ah i mean king vegeta, argh i mean, sirundead ^^

One thing cool about you is the fact that when you spend a bunch of time polishing something, it really shows and looks really good. That's obviously not the case here-- My point is that even when you DON'T spend a lot of time polishing something to look awesome, you still know how to put the right bits in play for it to be an enjoyable piece with some slight eye candy going on. Mood totally set, point clearly understood. Keep doing awesome stuff. And don't stop or I'll kill you.

CartoonCoffee responds:

Thank you, it's good to know where my strengths are.
And no worries, as long as I have a pulse I'll keep creating.

Thanks for the comment!

Never stop writing.

danmarkowitz responds:

Thanks!

SICK. We should do more of this.

You went for a plethora of ambitious stuff with this, and I think it really paid off in making this feel like more than "just another".

Your response to Wooley made me crack up. More PiperAnn is never a bad thing, but you'll have to find a different man than this one here to shit talk ATheatricalSongbird, especially since I thought she was great on Gina.

Kel-chan responds:

Nah It was more than, that I did wrong by Piper and I kinda messed up big time. I have to make sure I communicate with all of you voice actors more so things don't get squirrely.

I might make a sequel or just keep experimenting with other projects but I have a ton of other projects to catch up on.

Thanks for your hep

Amazing. I'm a fan of what you're mocking here, and you do a really solid job at it. Very much looking forward to more.

danmarkowitz responds:

Thanks! New episodes coming once a month.

Still loads of questions, but there's a definite sense of direction. Like a mystery worth figuring out. Your art's awesome and your characters sure as hell are interesting. Looking forward to the rest.

CartoonCoffee responds:

Thanks that's exactly what i was going for! I'm glad I was able to keep that air of mystery without going too far and being obnoxious. I have grand plans for the future episodes, I hope I can keep things interesting.

Love it. I truly hope to see more like this from you, and I'd love to be involved in more. Also, the art style fit this piece really well.

dylan responds:

Thanks, man! I've got another project in the works right now, so I'll definitely be sending you some stuff once I have it all nailed down

I think you would benefit from representing the hunters as more than "evil people." I understand that commonly made choice, but when you represent the villains as real characters with independent traits and actual depth, giving some insight into their motives, you can do a more effective job of showing people WHY their choices are wrong. If they're just mask-faced, evil, red-eyed dickheads, then you don't establish that connection, and your whole story just feels like it's ignorantly pushing a one-sided ANIMALS HAVE FEELINGS TOO agenda. You've drawn hunters in the past as just people, so I'm sure a portion of your choices here had to do with your own stated desire to go with a simplified animation style, which is fine, but that Disney-style BAD PEOPLE ARE BAD method never tugged on my heartstrings I guess. Also, when the one hunter's eye faded out instead of closing shut, I was like "Heh, I guess they were all terminators. That explains it!"

Not to say an anti-hunting agenda is why you made this, I'm sure it's not looking at your past works, but it still gives off a closed-minded feel that I think you're probably better than. Not that I don't agree with the point, though. Shooting animals for yucks is a bit of a dick move. I just think a story, especially a decidedly dramatic one, benefits from both sides seeming potentially viable to the unbiased eye, with one side doing something that someone may or may not regard as going too far. Melodramas where villains are clearly villains and heroes are clearly heroes with no gray or understanding for the other shoe are a little passe.

Don't misunderstand me though, I think it's a great piece. It's cool to see your improvements and you did a proper job of building drama and tension. I would hope you to be having a great time with viewers since foxes are trending right now and you were all about it "before they were cool."

KFoxyFox responds:

Well, I am an opponent of fox hunting and hunting for sport, and not an opponent of hunting for food ^^. The baddies were made to look more like machines than men in some ways, to distance themselves from humanity. I thought it was a cool design ^^.
